Swing 4 Diabetes

Living with Type 1 Diabetes comes with daily challenges, but it has also given me a purpose beyond myself. In 2009, I co-founded the annual Swing 4 Diabetes golf tournament alongside Auburn great Kendall Simmons to support those facing the same battle. Since then, we’ve raised over $400,000 for the Diabetes Center at East Alabama Medical Center. Contributing to research and resources for a cure is my way of turning a challenge into a mission—one that continues to make a meaningful impact on the community I love.
